Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer telehealth or in-person sessions?

I offer telehealth sessions for anyone located in the state of Illinois! I have an office in the city in Bucktown close to public transportation and with free street parking nearby. My office is located at 1828 W. Webster Avenue in Chicago.

Do you take insurance?

I am in-network with BlueCrossBlueShield PPO, Blue Choice, and United HealthCare. I will gladly provide an estimate for the cost of services for those with BCBS or UHC. It is always best to go to your carrier directly for the most accurate information on your fees for therapy. You can do this by calling the member number on the back of your insurance card and asking about your behavioral health benefits. For those with other insurance plans, I am happy to provide a detailed bill for services for you to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.

What are your credentials?

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois. I have extensive experience across multiple settings including schools, hospitalization programs, and outpatient practice. I am a proud member of the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation. I have an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin (go Badgers!) and have a master’s degree from the University of Chicago in clinical social work.

What are your areas of specialization?

I am a trained behavioral therapist and specialize in the treatment of OCD, complex anxiety, life events and stressors, ADHD, and parent coaching. I utilize behavioral interventions such as exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
