Individual therapy
The goal of individual therapy is to explore, understand, and address emotional or behavioral challenges you may be facing in a nonjudgmental space. If you struggle with any of the following, it’s a great time to reach out - there’s no time like the present!
intrusive thoughts
feeling directionless
rituals and compulsions
life stressors
transition to adulthood
intolerance of uncertainty
relationship difficulties
rumination
situational events and triggers
avoidance
distress tolerance
perfectionism
loss of identity and values
family-of-origin impact
Parent coaching
Parent coaching is a wonderful option for caregivers who are looking for support on parenting their child with anxiety, ADHD, an eating disorder, or OCD. Topics discussed in sessions include:
psychoeducation around various mental health conditions
the role of familial accommodation in child psychiatric disorders
how to disengage from reassurance seeking
tangible strategies on how to help your loved one stop the cycle of anxiety in its tracks
a safe space to process what it’s like to be the caregiver of a child struggling with their mental health
Professional consultation
One of my favorite things to do is educate others in the mental health field about the topics I specialize in and how they manifest across the lifespan. If you’re interested in learning more about OCD, familial accommodation for anxiety, disordered eating, and complex anxiety disorders, please reach out!
Trainings & Presentations
I love spreading knowledge about different psychiatric conditions and behavioral interventions to audiences across different settings. I would be honored to be part of the following:
professional development presentations for educators about how to recognize anxiety, ADHD, OCD, or eating disorders in children
school presentations for students about pediatric mental health conditions
trainings for other therapists, dietitians, and doctors on my areas of expertise, how to identify if a client is struggling with their mental health, and evidence-based treatment options for them
